CInEMA: Image Education – A new project in schools between documentation and education
The Istituto Centrale del Patrimonio Immateriale – Central Institute for the Intangible Heritage (ICPI) of the Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with the Fondazione Benetton Studi Ricerche and BIA – Beni Immateriali e Archivistici – Intangible and Archival Heritage, is presenting the project CInEMA – Conoscere Indietro, Esperienza Multimedia e Audiovisivo – Knowing the Past, Multimedia and Audiovisual Experiences: an initiative that aims to make young people aware of the use of images – be they photographs or videos – by engaging them as creators of multimedia content. Within this context, AGA intends to fine-tune and strengthen an ethnographic working methodology already tested in a previous research project, which led to the construction of ‘community narratives’.
