Cuchi

Cuchi are ancient terracotta whistles found in the folk cultures and traditions of many countries since antiquity. Originally created as simple wind instruments, children’s toys or animal calls, over time they have also taken on symbolic meanings, often being associated with rituals connected to fertility, marriage and the cycle of life.

During the workshop, participants will discover the techniques and stages involved in crafting these curious clay objects. Guided by skilled artisans, they will have the opportunity to create their own Cuco and take home the whistle they have made.
