Coro Cellule

The Coro Cellule is a children’s choir from the lower Veronese area (Legnago, Cerea, and beyond) led by conductor Leonardo Maria Frattini, who founded it in September 2024 alongside around fifty children and their families. “Cellule” (Cells) is the title of a song especially dear to the children—a track about peace that reflects who they are: a choir that, much like cells, is made up of many distinct individuals who together form something new and far greater than the sum of its parts. This song also inspired an illustrated book by Maria Chiara Banchini, published by Storiedichi Edizioni. The Coro Cellule sets itself apart by developing a repertoire of meaningful songs, often born from the children’s own ideas. The young singers follow every step of the process—from songwriting and arranging to recording—collaborating rehearsals after rehearsal. These are truly their songs, and the festival is delighted to share them with you this year.
