The Gladiatorial games
Civic Museums of Verona
On September 20, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., the Civic Museums of Verona will offer an immersive experience for adults and children discovering ancient Roman gladiatorial games. The activity will begin with a short guided tour of the Arena Amphitheatre and then continue, together with the guide, towards the Archaeological Museum at the Roman Theatre. Here the group can split up: the children will be welcomed by a museum worker who will take them to the classroom for a workshop, while the parents will be able to delve deeper into the themes of ancient games in a short guided tour of the museum with the support of the guide.
The activity is free and included in the entrance fee to the Amphitheatre Arena, according to current rates.
Access to the Archaeological Museum at the Roman Theatre is free.
