Tamburello

This is played outdoors or indoors, in two teams of five players each, ready to stick together
when the game gets tough, cheering each other on with a “Forza, tutti insieme raga!” (Come on, all together boys!). Already known as ‘Ball with racket’ in 1555, the game of Tamburello has evolved over time as a traditional sport with a strong competitive spirit, which is also widely practised in the Veronese area today.
