Subbuteo is a tabletop game that gained wide popularity in the 1990s. It was invented in England in 1947 and simulates the actions of a real football match in miniature form. Originally, the players’ kits were hand-painted and customized, later replaced by interchangeable uniforms replicating the appearance of famous footballers. After being sidelined by the rise of football video games, Subbuteo returns to Tocatì riding a wave of renewed enthusiasm.
