The Game of Sowing

The ancient Game of Sowing is widespread across Africa and the Caribbean, known by many names—Warri, Ayo, Awalé… Two players face off at a wooden board with 12 pits and 48 seeds. Each turn, the player makes a move with the goal of capturing as many seeds as possible. At Tocatì, Warri is presented by the African Museum of Verona.
