Backgammon

The aim of the game, for each player, is to bring their pieces “home” to their inner board, and then bear them all off. The first player to do so wins. Simple rules that date back 5,000 years, from Ancient Rome’s Duodecim Scripta—a game beloved by emperors—to today’s global community of 10,000 players registered with the Worldwide Backgammon Federation.
