Time of communities: between living Heritage and Education
The international symposium of “Tocatì, a shared program for the safeguarding of Traditional Games and Sports” celebrates this year, in its fifth edition, the submission of the multinational application to UNESCO. In a period marked by an unprecedented global health crisis, Tocatì resists, creates and innovates, proposing to the delegations
of the five partnership countries (Italy, Belgium, Cyprus, Croatia and France) to reflect on the first mea-
sure indicated in the program: the transmission of Traditional Games and Sports in formal and informal Education.
Representatives of traditional ludic communities, institutions of Culture and Education, School and Research
will exchange experiences, good practices and reflections. Saturday morning will be dedicated to the
presentation of a narrative for each country. In the afternoon, a world-café will share the launch of a pilot
project in the Veneto region, inviting the partnership to exchange experiences from the different field-work.
