Bussolotti, cartoccetti, cuppetielli: there are many names for the darts shot from blowpipes. At the Festival, these paper projectiles are called Pirole, a name that comes from the tradition of filling one’s mouth with berries from the “Pirlar” tree and shooting them rapidly into the air.

Blowpipe shooting has been part of the Festival since its very first editions, bringing different generations together in a shared moment of challenge and fun.
