Yanez. Me, Sandokan and Salgari

BAM!BAM! Teatro creates a bridge with the guest of hon- our of Tocatì 2023 through the soft-spoken Yanez, a Portuguese character from Salgari’s Sandokan. A perfect intermediary, Yanez will tell the audience not only about his fictional adventures, but also about the sometimes unexpected figure of our favourite adventure writer and fellow Veronese, Emilio Salgari. To pay homage to Portugal, the sets and costumes are by one of Portugal’s most famous illustrators, Bernardo Carvalho.
