Created as a project to approach the languages of art for the youth and students of the
University of Verona, Contemporanee-contemporaries is configured as the most extensive
semi-permanent exhibition of works produced after the year 2000, the first in a university
space. During the visit we will discover the historical origin and the events of the restoration of one of the most iconic buildings of nineteenth-century fortified Verona, the Ex Provianda di Santa Marta, until its transformation into a university venue and the installation of more than eighty works from the AGIVERONA Collection, one of the most prestigious collections
of contemporary art in Italy.
