The Fado, a genre of Portuguese folk music recognised in 2011 as a UNESCO World Heritage, is an interweaving of melancholy and hope, stories of travel, loneliness and farewells, of Portuguese men leaving for the colonies and their families remaining on the continent to await their return. At Tocatì we can enjoy the Lusitanian ‘saudade’ with Grupo Fado Nostrum.
