Cornhole, which originated in the fields of Bavaria in the 1300s, is today a simple and engaging game that is gaining increasing popularity in Italy. Two teams, or two players, compete by tossing fabric bags filled with corn toward wooden platforms measuring 120 cm long and 60 cm wide, placed 7.5 meters apart. At the center of each platform is a 15 cm hole—the target to hit.
Players earn 3 points if the bag goes through the hole, and 1 point if it lands on the platform. The players take turns throwing four bags each, and the score is calculated at the end of the round, including bags pushed by opponents.
In Italy, Cornhole is a growing tradition built on skill, focus, and fun. It’s an opportunity to come together, share laughs and friendly challenges, and rediscover the joy of healthy, carefree competition.
