Art at Play
curated by the Civic Museums of Verona
Art at Play is an exhibition format launched in 2024 within the context of Tocatì, the International Festival of Street Games. It is a thematic journey involving the venues and collections of the Civic Museums and other cultural sites in Verona, featuring a calendar of initiatives focused on play as a tool for encounter, learning, creativity and fun, well-being, and sustainability.
Conceived by the Department of Culture, Tourism, and Relations with UNESCO of the Municipality of Verona, together with the Civic Museums and in collaboration with the Associazione Giochi Antichi (AGA) and the Central Institute for Intangible Heritage of the Ministry of Culture (ICPI), the Art at Play program opens a new space for encounters between ancient and contemporary art.
