On Friday 12 April 2019, at the Sala Pasetto of Palazzo Barbieri, the headquarters of the Municipality of Verona, the first international meeting was held to co-write the application form of Tocatì to the Register of Good Practice of Safeguarding Intangible Cultural Heritage.
The multinational nomination project is the result of a long process of shared reflections and experiences at the national and international level. All participants invited in this meeting have already contributed, since 2016 to the different editions of the International Seminar “Tocatì, a shared heritage” under the patronage of Unesco with the support of the Veneto Region, the Municipality of Verona, the Italian Ministry of cultural heritage and activities and the National Commission for Unesco. The nomination process is supported by a large number of ludic communities, institutions, accredited NGOs at the national and European level.
This first meeting has had three main objectives:
- Sharing of the first draft of the ICH03, under revision;
- Reviewing and reflecting on the use of the Verona Protocol as a consent form and a coope- ration tool;
