On the centennial of Gianni Rodari’s birth, Biblioteca Civica Ragazzi (Kids’Public Library) dedicates to the wonderful Gianni a bibliographical itinerary that valorizes his literary work dedicated to childhood, offering the several different editions present in the Libraries’ collections.
We’ll discover a little-known Rodari, theone who narrated our city in two beau-tiful stories, “Il tenore proibito” (The forbidden tenor) from Il libro degli errori (The book of mistakes) (1964) and
“Un amore a Verona” (A love in Verona) from Il gioco dei quattro cantoni (The four cantons’ game) (1980), accompanied by the original interpretation of Marco Paci, illustrator and friend of the Library and the Festival.
