LIKE A ROLLING STAR
After six years, Paola Zannoner once again meets the public of Tocatì. She’s one of the most acclaimed authors of books for teenagers and was awarded the 2018 Strega Prize for Children’s Literature with L’ultimo faro (lit. “The last lighthouse”), selected by 83 schools in Italy and abroad. Zannoner will talk about her extremely successful career as a writer and of her most recent book, Rolling Star (DeA), a story about three friends travelling across the South of France in 1968. It’s a chance to visit with her the places tied to this year’s festival and to rediscover the atmosphere and music – especially Bob Dylan – from fifty years ago. As an expert in literature and author of about 30 books, she has been awarded many prizes and her books have been translated in several languages. Among her novels we’d like to mention: Voglio fare la scrittrice (lit. “I want to be a writer”) (2007), Lasciatemi in pace! (lit. “Leave me alone!”) (2008), Voglio fare la giornalista (lit. “I want to be a journalist”) (2011), Specchio Specchio (lit. “Mirror Mirror”) (2012), La settima strega (lit. “The seventh witch”) (2014), Voglio fare l’innamorata (lit. “I want to be in love”) (2014), A piedi nudi, a cuore aperto (lit. “Barefoot and open-hearted”) (2015) and Voglio fare il cinema (lit. “I want to make movies”) (2016).
