The famous illustrator dedicates this event to children: she will comment her books and create new stories with the children to “narrate through drawings”, explaining how she usually creates text and illustrations together, developing them right away on a storyboard. “I often tell children that instead of a head I have a cauldron in which I drop all sorts of ingredients. And the cooking is really slow”. A creative process that since 1993 has allowed her to be the author of text and illustrations of around thirty books, and illustrator of almost as many others, many of which have received prestigious prizes. She also produced theatre scripts and animated films. Born in 1973 in Paris, she lived in the South of France, then returned to the capital to attend École des arts décoratifs, and published her first work when she was twenty years old. Almost all her books are edited by L’École de loisirs and by Babalibri in Italy. Vaugelade will visit Verona for the first time, guest of Tocatì in collaboration with Alliance Française.
