CREATIVITY, INCLUSION, RESPECT, SAFETY
cured by the Accademia di Belle Arti of Verona
Practices, expressions and game knowledge constitute the great intangible cultural heritage at the heart of Tocatì. This “intangible” heritage also includes things associated with games, that substantiate the rules and that often make them immediately recognizable. Consider for example the Frisbee or the large number of balls we know, from ball rope to tennis, etc. In every time and place, behind these more or less complex objects is a multitude of designers – engineers, specialists, pedagogues – who with creativity and expertise imagined and perfected them for the people’s enjoyment, in the name of the values of inclusion, respect and security. Antonella Andriani, designer and deputy director of the Academy of Fine Arts of Verona, and Paolo Taverna, General Manager of Assogiocattoli, representatives of companies in the sector, together with some students of the triennial in Design and of the two-year master’s degree in Italian Strategic Design, speak about it.
