Facciamo scuola contro l'azzardo

Can you dream of becoming a rich Youtuber by “playing” Fortnite or Minecraft, or does gambling knock out the dreams of too many young people? This year as well the Festival addresses this issue in collaboration with the Department of Diagnostics and Public Health, with a wide audience of high school children from Verona and the province, for a competent and collective reflection. Cristiano Chiamulera, expert pharmacologist professor, will analyze the neurological consequences of the gambling that travels on the web; Maurizio Fiasco, president of Alea, will present the data that sees Italy stand out where it would be best to be the last: over 100 billions were burned for the delusion of gambling in 2018 and 30% of minors have already tried it. Gianfranco Preverino, professional magician, will conclude the morning by unravelling with the audience the traps of gambling, demonstrating playfully yet concretely that in the end the dealer always wins.

Moderated by Maurizio Fiasco (President of Alea).Introduce Chiara Stella (teacher).Initial greetings from the Rector of University of Verona.
