Tocatì is honoured to host at the Festival a meeting with a great “game expert”: Ennio Peres, mathematician and author of 46 books dedicated to games, who’ll attend the festival to talk about his ludic life and his recent book “Corso di Enigmistica” (lit. “Puzzles Course”) where he reveals techniques and secrets to solve – and create – rebus puzzles, crosswords, anagrams
and other word games. They’re all mental gymnastics, precious to face life with a smile (and keep our brain trained!). Peres, who has taught mathematics and information technology for years, has contributed to several headlines (La Stampa, Paese Sera, Unità, Linus, as well as radio programs and tv shows). He’s an enthusiast of games with letters and numbers, he has also invented several board games and has been the organizer for years of the “world’s most difficult crosswords puzzle” challenge. He received several prestigious prizes for his multiple activities in the ludic and mathematical worlds. Introduction by Lorenza Pizzinelli, journalist.
