Games as a strategy to increase cognitive development: Daniela Lucangeli, a world famous scientist able to translate in a few simple and touching words the most complex and abstract concepts, illustrates how emotions provoked by playing facilitate learning and neurological development even in situations of disability. As children we play a lot, as adults a lot less. Do we stop learning? Teacher of Developmental Psychology at the university of Padua, she’s the author of many contributions to research and to the themes of mathematical learning and metacognition. She’s a member of prestigious national and international scientific associations in the fields of developmental psychology and psychology of learning, and the national president of CNIS (Coordinamento Nazionale Insegnanti Specializzati). She’s the author of several books published by Erickson and Giunti.
