IDENTIKIT OF A POET AND READING
To write poems means to know how to “play” with words, knowing all their nuances and using them knowingly to put in writing emotions and feelings that come from the poet’s individual self and resonate within the readers. Andrea Melis was able to awaken this participation and sharing since day one as a poet on social networks, where one of his poems was shared over a 100k times. He’s an artist of the XXI century, and has already published his first collection of poetry “#Bisogni” (lit. “#Needs”) thanks to crowdfunding. Now he presents “Piccole tracce di vita – Poesie urgenti” (lit. “Small traces of life – Urgent poems”), published by Feltrinelli. Andrea Melis (born in 1979) is a graphic designer, video maker and writer and has published articles and tales on Italian and foreign journals. He’s part of the Sabot union and has signed novels with Massimo Carlotto and
