The ICH collective in Brittany and the Bretagne Culture Diversité association organised a trilingual (French, Breton, Gallo) traveling exhibition dedicated to the aspects of Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) present in Brittany such as music, dance, tales, traditional games and sports, the popular uses of plants and the fest-noz. This exhibition, consisting of 12 panels, is itinerant and is offered free of charge to any structure that requests it. The main objective is to present the concept of intangible cultural heritage to the Breton people. Each panel illustrates a feature of the intangible cultural heritage by taking up the elements of definition proposed in the 2003 Convention: a living heritage, transmitted from generation to generation, constantly recreated, etc. Examples of similar practices taken from other regions of the world allow us to illustrate the variety of these forms of cultural expression and present the concept of cultural diversity.
This exhibition has been translated into Italian thanks to the collaboration of Alliance Française.
