INTERACTION – GAMES ARE RELATIONS
Games are a universal language, understood by everyone, because they’re based on natural
and intuitive movements and attitudes. Through games we can overcome barriers and
differences: apparently opposite cultures can interact and dialogue easily. It’s interesting to see
how similar games developed in geographically distant societies and territories, and how
playing a traditional game from another community allows to interact with it simply and directly.
Games are a concrete tool of inclusion for migrant ludic communities, and encourage the
meeting of different people and cultures who share the same life spaces. In this perspective of
education and respect for cultural diversity, traditional games can be considered as a school for global citizenship.
